A lifestyle blog - Its a jumble from my world a bit of everything - loves, likes, lists.

So grateful my mom kept this beauty. She bought this leather bag loooong before I was born, so well over 25 years ago. Her and my dad went to Greece and my mom bought a set of bags like this in different sizes. This size now belongs to me.

I love the tan colour and the fact that it's real leather. Its not perfect, over time its started to wear a bit and parts of it have different textures and colours, but I still love it and use it. Such a classic piece and I am so proud of it. Go raid you moms closet! I promise there will be so many gorgeous and wonder gems that are an investment and can be passed down again.

Save up and spoil yourself.
Sometimes its really nice to spoil yourself a little. I ordered these amazing, affordable, locally made beauty products from Hey Gorgeous check out the site. I think you will be very impressed and really swoon over the amazing natural products!

Get some animal love.
Nothing like a cuddle with a cat or dog to lift your mood. Animals are so soothing and truly the most loving, kind creatures. This is show pony Tess. She belongs to the boyfs family. Whenever I see her she gently puts my hand in-between her teeth and then takes me for a walk. lol

Read more about things that interest you.
I recently bought this book after wanting it for a long time. I am becoming more interesting in surfing. Not any good at it, but I would like to give it a go and not give in too easily. Since I cant exercise for awhile, I decided I can at least start researching and reading up on it.

Remember to thank the ones that do so much.
The boyf has truly being an incredible support in my life. He and my mom as well as a wonderful group of friends, have truly stuck by me and supported me. I need to remind him and them, more often how much I appreciate them, their time, patience and unconditional love.

I am not sure what it is. Last week in yoga I felt weak, off centre and lacking concentration  Since that class i have had a really rough week emotionally and I sometimes find I lack that feeling of being centred and grounded. On Saturday night after dinner at the boyf place, I pulled out my yoga mat and did a 30min session to try clear my head.

It made me realise, often your body is telling you something. I think because of all the emotions lately, I have worn myself out. Trying to fit in , gym , exercise, social, varsity, etc etc when I am basically running on empty. The 30min was great to shift focus and calm myself. I will definitely start doing more home sessions when my body tells me that it needs to. Most importantly, I will start doing things for me.

A serious treat! I love marzipan and dark chocolate! I had no idea Ritter Sport made this combo so now I am truly thrilled. My two favourite sweet things combined! YES

I live in a flat and I really miss having a garden. So I have a great appreciation for gardens and flowers. How pretty is the pink flower I found on my walk? Flowers bring so much light and joy. Its the small things.

My friend Kristi has the cutest little boston called Goochi! How cute is she? I love spending time with both of them. Animals offer so much healing and this little one makes me so happy!!!

Celebrate the little things that lift your mood and bring you joy and happiness!!

I am obsessed with seashells. They are all over my rooms and I have a collection that I try keep going. If ever I go away, or to the beach I try and find some rare beauties to add to my obsession. This beauty was found on the beach in Arniston. I decided I wanted to get a hole put into it so I could use it as a pendant. But wait!!! When I got home and cleaned it up.....it had a perfect hole already in it! So basically it was meant to be :)

I love this shell because it is so detailed. It has swirls of pink in it and it is has ridges and bumps all over it. I love things that are so far from perfect and have character. Such a lucky find!
