BANANA OAT AND DARK CHOCOLATE CHIP BALLS
These just came out of the oven and I am so excited to share these with you! Found the recipe by chance (on good old Pinterest). I also had two bananas that were looking a little over ripe and in need of some rescuing.
this is a nice alternative to banana bread, it's also ideal if you're looking for a sweet treat that is healthy. You don't need more than one to or two - if your looking to satisfy a sweet craving these are ideal! Check out the recipe below :) This is a photo of the ones I made.
Banana Oat Dark Choc chip Balls
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 Cup uncooked oats - I used jungle oats
- 1/4 Cup dark chocolate chips - Woolies sell really nice ones
- Preheat oven at about 180
- Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray
- Mix the mashed banana and oats in a bowl
- Fold in the choc chips and mix together - use a wooden spoon
- Make small balls with a spoon or hands and place on baking sheet
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
