Let me explain. I came across these pictures that I took with my mobile recently. I always forget I take pics and then stumble across them at some point.
The first one is of me behaving like a child! Went to visit friends and they have the most amazing garden with this awesome tyre swing for their children! Naturally I had to give it a go! Too much fun, little bit of rope burn on my hands, but one thing is for sure one day I want a swing in my garden.
The Sunset was last week sometime. It had been a particulary cold miserable day and I found myself grumbling about the cold. I noticed this pinky glow in my room while I was working, went outside and there it was... the perfect winter sunset!
The last pic is from Sunday night. We went to friends for dinner in their lovely new home and they made us dinner, sadly half way through the cooking process the entire glass dish split! How bizarre right? Of course we were all looking forward to the meal and the effort that had gone into it, in the end we ended up going for an amazing dinner at the local pizza joint (which is a firm favourite) lots of fun had all round! Life is so short, don't sweat the small stuff, climb on a swing, watch a sunset and soak it in, throw the broken dish away and forget about it :)

Good old converse All Star Chuck Tailors :) Probably the best sneaker ever to exist. I have had these white high tops for years and I truly live in them. They look way cleaner in this pic, they are not in real life!
Happened to be passing the marooned ship on Saturday, so hectic! Took some pics along with the whole of Cape Town. Pretty epic boat stuck on the most beautiful beach.
Beautiful flowers from my amazing boyf. This is truly my favourite colour flower. I think its unusual and when they blossom they look truly amazing
- love is a two way street, make just as much effort as you want the other person too
- phone your friends, pick up the phone, not Facebook, e mail or twitter, actually call someone
- be grateful, while we all obsess with our looks, diets and where we want to be seen, we end up forgetting that we have to much good, in ourselves, in the people around us and our daily lives
- Stop, actually stop and listen to how someone else feels
- put your pride in your pocket, no one is impressed by pride
- dance like a total fool on the dance floor, get down and have some serious fun
- eat the chocolate your so badly wanting
- make new friends and add new people to your world
- do something kind for someone
- love who you are always
- eat pizza, you know you want to
- start a journal of all the good
- stand still, do some deep breathing, and shoulder rolls
- take photos, but stop to open your eyes and make memories in your mind
- read more books and read more meaningful stories and blogs
- and have a fantastic Monday
On Saturday we drove up the West Coast to attend a very special special wedding of two very special friends. I took photos of the gorgeous venue, Strandkombuis. With the sea raging outside, the amazing sea breeze and the union of two wonderful people, the location was fitting and beautiful in every possible way.
So lucky to be apart of it :) No words can really describe how amazing it was...
Organisers, Kim and Kate from wedding concepts put together this amazing wedding together.
